I decided to open up task manager to check what sort of CPU and memory usage uTorrent was using. Turns out there's a very simple solution that doesn't involve paying for the Pro version. I opened up the now updated uTorrent, and one of my first reactions was 'how do I get rid of these ridiculous ads?' The program was called ' Adaware Web Protection'Īt no point in the update and installation of uTorrent was there any notification that Adware would be installed, no options to decline, nothing.
